If anything drones are getting worse... why? and why has the AI driving them not been removed and totally replaced yet? Please give us some answers as the silence or soon(tm) crap is wearing thing. Aphotic Raven Gallente Spectral Armada Eternal Empire	Posted - 2006.12.10 11:05:00 - [2] Yeah... since revelations they seem more broken to me... not returning to ship when ordered.. changing targets... attacking/not attacking.. You know i almost regret not having a caldari alt with a raven... sometimes i feel like doing missions in high sec.. and sometimes i'd like to play the game on Easy mode... but with drones this wont happen... A lot of people say that they arent a priority for CCP because they are a secondary weapons system.... tell this to domi/vexor/myrmidon/arbitor pilots.... And if they are only a secondary weapon, as everything in eve suggests they should be.. then why are they so hard to operate... i warp in to a belt/mission, set guns on a rat, turn on tank and then spend the remainder of the time in that belt poking and prodding drones to try and make them behave... As specific as i can be, drones lag when launched, retrieved, they ignore orders entirely, they aggro seperate targets, they attack anything targeted and draw more aggro in missions (even from spawns that arent shooting yet, hence they get shot up themselves...) In pvp they are a joke as they tend to refuse to return... this gets you killed in many fun and exciting ways... They have abismall alpha due to the rediculous time taken to get them even moving towards a target (sentrys ARE better for this... but still kinda insane) A response from the devs would be great.. i know i may sound angry but its just frustration, i would like some statement or reply from the devs for all drone users to hear. If you need help testing, tell me when and where. Give us a summary of whats wrong please. A plan and a timetable to fix it. 3 months? ok. as long as theres action... please stop ignoring the issue... They MWD when you tell them to attack, they MWD when you tell them to return to drone bay. They even attack the targets I tell them to attack! Also, they only seem to attack enemies that have aggroed on me, so they don't fly off 70km to attack a group of battleships. Honestly, I think they've actually fixed them! I had some mediums switch from an aggro cruiser to a BC i had targetted... 2 drones left target 1 and and attacked unagroed target 2.... this then caused the BC and 2 frigs with it to target the drones and waste 1 of them before i could get them to return...
